Critical MASS is a series that invites artists of all backgrounds to submit one piece for review in order to be showcased among their peers.  This is one of the few pieces where I created my own artwork for the invitation.  Because of the Modernist nature of past shows, I chose Charles Demuth's The Figure 5 in Gold as inspiration for this piece.  It represents the speed of the growth of this project.
